The CVSD mission is to develop citizens who LEARN actively and collaboratively, THINK creatively and critically, LIVE responsibly and respectfully, CONTRIBUTE positively to their community, and DEVELOP EXCELLENCE in their individual interests.
Ensuring challenge and success for all students is not an easy job, but it is a worthy and a necessary one. The purpose of this website is to provide information, research, templates, structures, supports, and examples to help our teachers fulfill our mission. Much of the information on this site is a synthesis of ideas from Carol Ann Tomlinson, Rick Wormeli, Robert Marzano, Doug Reeves, Grant Wiggins, Doug Fisher, Ken O'Connor, Thomas Guskey, Lee Ann Jung, and many other incredible thinkers and educators.
